California High-Speed Rail

Have you ever wanted to travel from San Francisco to Los Angeles in less than 3 hours? Well now you have the chance to. Gov. Jerry Brown has made a $10 Billion decision to build a High Speed Railway connecting the Giants and Dodgers. (sounds like trouble to me.) This Railway will reach speeds up to 200 miles per hour. Voters approved this project on November 4, 2008, and they are only just starting. The ceremony for this groundbreaking project was January 6, 2015 with Jerry Brown and his wife signing the railway. In the future they are hoping to add San Diego to the mix. They plan on finishing this project by 2030. So who knows what is yet to come.
